I think that this is about your personal development. When you were younger you had a good time playing video games and got to "waste time". The hamburger is junkfood, but in this context videogames and TV are junkfood for your mind. Then those good times had past as you got older and you realized that you couldn't waste time anymore (or waste your mind). But now you are an illustrator and you are very productive and your mind is healthy and you work hard but you are happy.
